Stator Removal
On the SE50....the manual suggests the stator should pull right out you know, with fingers. The stator I have really likes where it is. Should I be using a puller? I could use a BFH, but I would like to use this part again

Re: Spree title
Alright. This is from another WI resident who is familiar with the process. I guess you'll have to visit your DMV to figure out what forms he is referring to. Thanks go to Johnie for this information:

Re: Spree title
I figured out how to do this in Minnesota. But like Bear said, every state is different. You may find that it is a real pain and/or expensive. Although the DMV is a public entity and is supposed to be there to help you, they really seem to have their head up their * with this one, nation wide. The ...

1987 SE50 Engine Advice
Ok. Some of you may have followed my thread from a little while back about a nasty 1987 SE50P. The splines on the crankshaft were worn off, so I couldn't get the driven gear on.
Anyway, I've found a local guy parting out his scoot, and has the bottom end of the engine available.
Is my thinking ...

Re: Just crazy
I feel you Bear. I run across this problem with motorcycles I look at. Buyer beware if they put "Vintage" or "Classic" in their description (cause it seems to raise the price a few hundred). Doesn't matter how rusty or decrepit or title-less their POS is, if there was something like it on Ebay, it ...

Re: Nipples
Thanks for looking. I think even if I could find a source, I would still epoxy. JB Weld = the shade tree's machinist. I would be nervous about trying to tap that fuel line hole myself.

Re: Nipples
Good deal. I always like to know about where to find commodities. I'm not sure they have these at ACE Hardware though. I've spent a good amount of time in there looking at what they got, and I haven't come across any...yet.Hardware, auto parts or plumbing supply store.

Where would I find a threaded nipple for this? If I can't find one, then I am fairly familiar with JB weld.

Don't get excited!
Specifically the fuel nipple for a PA carb off an SB50 I was sending off. As I took the carb off, the fuel nipple came out/off with the fuel line. This is a pressed-in brass tube, yes? It's not supposed to come out, no? I did put it back in, and I can't get it out now with my ...

SB50 Carb Price
I hope I'm not being too cheeky by asking how much you guys would spend on one.
