Re: possible part out but some questions 86 honda aero
I'd be very interested in the kickstart assembly and cover. If you want to keep the motor complete, I'd probably take the entire engine off your hands. I could also use the autochoke.

Re: Engine shroud question.
It's an Aero 50, not a spree. It still does an easy 40mph, just like it always did. If you guys really think airflow from that little fan is greater than airflow from going down the road at 25+ with no plastics I suppose I won't convince you otherwise. Either way, the bike runs great, it has never ...

Re: What's a Honda Hobbit?
Hobbits are sweet, they are one of the few variated mopeds. I'd pay 200 or so for a non running one, more for a runner.

Re: Engine shroud question.
ok, so this is a super old thread, but I thought I'd bump with some results. I sold the bike to a kid right after making that post. He took the shroud off and ran it for a couple of years. It stopped running because the exposed wiring got corroded. I cleaned up the wiring and ran it today and it ...

Aero 50 rides again!
So I pulled this out of a dumpster 5 or 6 years ago and after a little tinkering I got it running. I sold it to a guy on craigslist for 300 bucks or so. A year or so went by and I was at a party, and he came rolling up on it. I was a little surprised it was still on the road, but he let me ride it ...

Sweet, I'm going to the moab scooter rally and I need all the MPH I can get. None of my bigger bikes are running at the moment, so I'm going to have to take the Aero and ride at the back of the pack, WAAAAAY back.
Does anyone have a picture or two of the Variator, pully, and the restrictor plate? I ...

Pully, variator, restrictor plate removal questions.
I have a few qustions about the removal of the restrictor plate on my aero 50. In the document in the performance section it says to remove the pully with an impact gun. How do I install it again? Using the impact gun? How do I tell how much I am torquing it when I put it back on? Also, if someone ...
