sounds like an issue i'm having...i'm wondering where the mixture screw is located? like on the side of the carb, there's the 'Throttle Stop Screw' and the 'Air Screw'...is it one of those?
or should i be looking elsewhere completely on the scooter?

i notice that when i hit a bump in a road, if i'm at a low enough engine speed, i.e. just creeping forward, the engine cuts out completely, as if a wire is loose some place...if i'm going way faster, the engine cuts out, and then fires back up again...(forward motion, probably keeps the engine going ...

Well I removed the throttle body, and tried reinstalling it. It goes in easily, and the needle goes through the little tiny hole at the bottom, but the cylindrical thing itself goes in, mmm...maybe an 1/8th of an inch...
Is there a specific way I'm supposed to install the throttle body? Like groove ...

As the subject line states, as part of the "cleaning" of the carb I unscrewed the throttle control body from the top of the carb and removed it.
