Their number impies the RPM over stock before the clutch engages. 1000 clutch springs means your motor is revving 1000rpm more than stock before the clutch engages. Like giving a standard truck a bit of gas and dumping the clutch without the ...

Re: variator
Maybe try your original rollers in there. The ones that come with te Kelli variator are sometime not the best weight. Roller sets are for sale on eBay. Easy cheap thing to try.

Re: Half throttle bog?
So maybe go to a #100 jet? Thought that would be way too rich from other posts with similar setup running 88's and 95's. Lean.... Not good. Hmm. Okay thanks bear last run to beer store tonight and will wait for richness. Thought that plug was trying to say something

Re: Half throttle bog?
Good info... Checked float and needle while switching main jet.. My plug is new but hard to read- only half the plug has anything on it and it is tan. Went around the block chopped at half throttle, same reading as WOT- tan. Hmm. Yup . I can almost deal
with it. And just rained here today

Re: Half throttle bog?
Put needle up... Much worse bog. Put back to bottom, better. Tried wrapping unifilter in cloth to lower air intake- no diffrence. Tuning of carb-a-tooter seems better. Maybe I just suck at air/fuel mix setting

Re: Abs bodywork
The plastic was broke on my scoot right beside the left turn signal (seems super common). I used a cut up plastic bottle (600ml) and two paperclips to hold the peice in place then fiberglassed over this shape. The plastic bottle had a perfect curve at the top that worked great. More sturdy than duct ...

Re: Half throttle bog?
I should also add it idles great, starts with one kick. When the throttle is opened up it gains speed smoothly and the engine purrs up to speed. If it is held at half throttle it runs great up till it maxes for throttle positioning then starts to bog and sound like its ready to die although it doesn ...

Re: HELP tuning my new pipe

Freakin hilarious, I have almost exactly the same set up: 2000 dio w/ AF18E stock except keli variator, 7 and 9 gram rollers, yms R1 pipe, uni filter, 9.8:1 gears (long hills everywhere so skipped the 9.1:1's), 90& 95 main jets. Just ordered 100 main jet and 1500 centre spring. Getting ...
