suggestions for sprees

well it got it to do a constant 26mph. i drilled a hole in the muffler (looking at the back of the scooter) 3 inches left of the tip. and on the top about 8 inches in from the tip. its alot stronger now which i think means that i need to clean my pipe. also should i shave off the little restrictor ...

could drilling out my muffler make the engine run lean? if so how would i adjust it, or would it even help with running better/ top speed?

would do you do to the airbox? make it ram air or something? also could that hurt it as long as you had the filter in?
i would really love to get this thing running right

ok i tightened up the exaust and now it accelerates quicker but still boggs down? my brother said it might be running too lean and i dont want to burn out my engine so how would i adjust that? if thats not the problem then what else could it be. thanks for the effort guys!

got my spree running ok now, normally will do 20mph somtime 25mph. i have the pipe semi loose because i was told to do that on this forum. at full throttle it somtimes boggs down and somtimes doesnt. also it seems that when i jump around on the bike a little then it will go faster for a while. any ...

ok so i cleaned the carb with the pyrol carb cleaner by inserting it through the screw hole, i followed the instructions on how to clean the carb that way. and now the spree will run but not without gas or it dies, and it will not go past 15 mph not matter what, and usually wotn make it past 5. im ...
